FEX – final expense.  This is a type of life insurance for which we cannot get clients.  If this is the primary focus for the agent, do not set a demonstration.

 

Pre-need.  This a burial insurance. Do not set a demonstration

 

LTC - long term care insurance 

AUM—Assets Under Management – these are professionals seeking to find investors to place assets with them to manage

IUL—Indexed universal life—this is a type of life insurance

FIA--- fixed index annuity – this is a type of annuity

IMO – Independent Marketing organization -Retirement Prospects is NOT an IMO.  We do not get involved in the products or services the agent sells. We do only one thing—we find new clients for financial advisors and life insurance agents

FMO – this is the same as IMO above

Captive agent – these are agents that work with only one insurance company.  This does not matter to Retirement Prospects. 

Independent agent-these are agents that work with multiple insurance companies.  This does not matter to Retirement Prospects.
