You do not enter the appointment again in the calendar as that will create a duplicate appointment !!!
You then follow the instructions to correct the email address as explained in the email I have sent you labeled "email 2 of 3 - instructions on how to fix your demonstrations"
Note that you can avoid all of the above if you're careful to begin with by reading back his email address and correctly typing it and make sure you do it correctly.
In other words, don't make mistakes that you need to correct. Just be careful and do it right the first time.
Note that he will receive the email while you're on the phone only if you have entered a personal email address (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Verizon, Comcast, etc). If you enter to business email address, he may never get the confirmation because many businesses have software that block lots of emails such as these confirmations.
