Ask for a PERSONAL email address

These financial professionals will not get confirmations at WORK email addresses.

That is why when you ask for the email address, you say "do you have access to a PERSONAL email address and what is it?"

Why don't they get the email confirmations at their work email?

Because financial companies heavily filter and block emails to their staff. So this will happen again and again when you do not get a personal email address (gmail, yahoo, outlook, msn, hotmail, etc)

How does their getting the email confirmation help you?

Because they are more likely to show up. Also, our software sends them a reminder email which they will never get unless you enter a PERSONAL email address.

So it is in your financial interest to get a personal email address.

Note:

SOMETIMES they will get the email confirmation at a company address - but 50% of the time they will not. There is no way to fix this. It is not something on our end, These companies block emails and there is nothing we can do. That is why it is best to always get a PERSONAL email address.

These advisors do not even KNOW that their companies block emails. They will say "I get every other email." But they do not know about the email they never got so they cannot see that their company blocks emails.
