2 business days in the future

Modified on Tue, 21 May at 5:14 PM

The calendar shows open time slots only 2 business days in the future.

Someone emailed me today and said,  "there are no more times open this month."

That is not true because more than 2 business days in the future is always blocked off.

For example, you see nothing open for Friday because that is more than 2 business days in the future  But tomorrow, you will see open times on Friday. Each day, you will see the next 2 business days in the future.

When you look at the calendar on Thursday, you will see open times for Friday and Tuesday (Memorial day is a holiday and not a "business day.)"

The calendar is real-time.  If someone on the calendar cancels, then that time slot shows as available immediately. Similarly, if you look at the calendar and see a time slow available, it may not be available 5 minutes later because it got filled.

no appointments available this month
The calendar software is not our software.

If we have no available time slots available for the next 2 business days(if the time slots are all full) the calendar displays this misleading message "no appointments available this month." That is NOT our message--it automatically displays and is misleading.  We cannot control this misleading message as the calendar is not our software.

That software does not understand that we only open time slots 2 business days in the future.  However, all time slots for the next 2 business days are full so we have no time slots to display. Since the calendar software sees no days open, it displays this misleading message "no appointments available this month."

But that message is not accurate.

When you look at the calendar tomorrow morning (Wednesday), you will see open time slots on Friday that do not display today.  Why don't the Friday time slots display today? Because Friday is more than 2 business days in the future.

When you look at the calendar on Wednesday, all open times available the next 2 business days will display.  So when you look at the calendar tomorrow (Wednesday), all open times for Thursday and Friday will display. When you look at the calendar on Friday, you will see open time slots for Tuesday and Wednesday (Monday is a holiday).  Only the next 2 business days display.  If there are no open time slots the next 2 business days, then this misleading message displays "no appointments available this month."

If you are still confused, let me know and I will create a video and explain it again.
