Pros and cons of calling on Saturday

Saturday may be a convenient day for you to call and you may want to give it a try.  We do not have experience with it.

Pros

Because Saturday is not a business day for most of these professionals, they are likely not on business calls. Therefore, you would expect to get more live answers and less voicemail because they’re not already on another call.

Cons

Because Saturday is not a regular business day, they may not be in their “business head.” They may not be thinking about their business and about adding clients.  Possibly, they do not have access to their business calendar to determine a good time for their demonstration. They may simply be unprepared for business calls on a Saturday.

We don’t know. The above is simply guesses. You can try it.

Note:  you may find it easy to set demonstrations on a Saturday. But then you want to watch what happens during the week.  Do these people show up?  In the past, when our business experts did demonstrations on Saturdays (which they don't do any longer), they closed very few sales.  Why? We can only guess at the answer. Our guess is that these professionals are not wearing their  "business hat" on Saturday and it was hard to get them to make a business decision about buying our service.
