You should expect to set one demonstration for each hour of calling. However, all telemarketing results are variable.
You may have 4 hours when you set zero demonstrations and the next day you set 8 demonstrations in 4 hours. The results will always vary from day to day and week to week.
Do not make any judgements from your first few days.
We had an appointment setter start with us a while ago and she earned bonus pay in her first week, which is very uncommon. She happened to start during a week when the financial professionals were more responsive.
But your first few days could be during a period when they are less responsive. There is no way to know or forecast how any day or week will turn out. You should average one appointment per hour but expect great variability during any particular day or week.
Patience is key.
