how much do you earn from a new client

Modified on Tue, 18 Mar at 1:06 PM

We don't want to have professionals on our calendar who have no money. Speaking to broke people is a waste of time for our business experts.

In the past, our appointment setters asked a more direct question, "are you able to invest $900 in your business if you decide we can match you with the perfect new clients?"  However, we felt this question may have put off some people.

So we still need to ask questions to make sure were not talking to people who are broke.

So we ask two questions now:

how many years have you been a professional?

how much do you earn from an average new client?

If we get the correct answers to the above questions, then we know they earn enough to hire us.

Why do we ask "how much do you earn from a new client?"

Because we don't want to speak to professionals who earn so little, they don't have money to hire us. It would be a waste of time to have those people on our calendar.

Note that the question we ask is some and apparently , some people do not understand the meaning of the word "average." So another way to ask "If you think of your last 10 clients and how much you earned from each of those clients and added that all together and divided by 10 what is your best estimate of the average earnings per new client?"

The actual question we would like to ask is "what is the value of a new client to you?"

But this question would be even more difficult for these professionals to answer.

The attached audio explains.
