calling referrals - what to say

When you get a referral to another financial professional


1. Mark the original professional in callhub as "not interested" which tells the dialer not to dial him again

2. Write down in your own record-keeping system the name of the person who gave you the referral ( the person you originally called in callhub) and the information of the referral such as their name and phone number

4. Call the referral and say "Hi Joe, you were referred to me by ( name of the person you had called in call hub).  I am looking for a financial professional.... Continue with your regular script.  You can of course have the callhub screen open so you have the script on your screen or, attached is a copy of the script in a word document

5. If you get the voicemail, do not leave a message as you will not get a return call.  Simply call that person each day until they answer the phone live.  Leaving voice messages has never been fruitful for us.
