Calling and Rescheduling No shows/ cancels

Modified on Fri, 21 Nov at 2:31 PM

If you get a notification via email that an advisor was no show or cancelled, I suggest that you wait a day to call that advisor. Why?  If the advisor did not answer the phone when our business expert calls, it is unlikely he will answer 10 minutes later if you call. Waitto the next day.

Or, you may get an email to contact the financial professional because he need to reschedule.

When you call, do not leave a voice message. Just call each day until they answer live.

Follow the process in this video

Here is what to say:

Hi (firstname). You expressed interest in meeting new clients for (his products and services) in area code xxx. Are you still able to take on new clients?  Great, this is (your name) with Retirement Prospects. Can I schedule a demonstration with one of our business experts to see if we can help you get the perfect new clients?

In the above script, you will have their information on their top 2 products and services on the page that shows all of our previously scheduled demonstrations, because this professional has been on the calendar previously.  You already have their information.

Note that the professional does not care about a "demonstration." They care about getting new clients. So focus on "getting new clients." Also note the importance of stating their specific products and services in your call.  That makes the call specific and more enticing to the professional.

By using the script above, your chance of rescheduling the professional will be higher.

Use a Different Caller ID

It is often good to make call backs to advisors using a different phone number, a different number than used to call them previously.   For example, they may feel embarrassed that they were a no-show.  When you call to reschedule them, they recognize your number and do not pick up.

The solution is to have different numbers with different area codes.

You can get free numbers for making outbound calls and texts from these sources:

Voice.google.com

Talkatone

Call2Friends

Ievaphone

PopTox

TextNow

(note: I have not tested these websites or services)

If you get a number with a different area code from each service, you will have multiple caller id numbers for outbound calls.
