I must talk to references

here is what you say:


We used to give out names and numbers of other advisors and some were getting 15 calls a week and they got pretty angry at us, as it was disrupting their daily business.  

So we decided it wasn’t a good idea to bother our clients just like we won’t irritate you.  Would you get irritated if you were getting 15 calls a week from us giving out your number to other advisors?


Here’s what we did.   We asked advisors to call us to tell us about their experience, we asked permission to record their comments so we could share them with others.

If advisor rejects that, add:

“There is a second reason advisors have requested privacy.  Some of them do not follow their firm’s compliance procedures.
